As I was sitting on a bench under a willow tree,
I saw the sun falling from the sky,
As I saw my shadow disappearing from my sight,
I realised the day was shrouding in a mist.
Everywhere I looked I only saw darkness,
All that I heard was the leaves sweeping away,
Everything that was once full of munchness,
Is now all taken away.
As I stood up searching for the right pathway,
I saw the light coming in my way,
As I stepped into the light,
I saw myself arising back again.
It was then I realised life is relishing,
Everyday is full of present to surprise,
And although there are ups and downs,
In the end the heaven will show you the way.
